The annual healthcare plan meeting between the Rail Labor Organizations (CRLO) and the Carriers (NCCC) was held in October of 2024.  This is the meeting at which plan rates are set for the following year. Upon reviewing the funding of the National Health & Welfare Plan, it was determined that, for the first time in recent history, there will be a decrease in plan contributions for 2025. While healthcare costs Nationally continue to rise, our plan was effectively managed in a way that kept costs down for 2024.  As a result, the 15% monthly employee contribution will be reduced by over 10% or $31.67 as of January 2025.  The monthly contribution paid by each member will be set at $277.54 throughout 2025.
