Rule 59/Addendum 13 Travel Allowance

The daily per diem rate for KCS will increase by 3.272%. The March 2026 Consumer Price Index was 963.607 and the March 2025 Consumer Price Index was 933.077. Therefore, effective July 1, 2026, the daily Travel Allowance rate per Rule 59 (KCS) will adjust as follows:

0 – 300 miles, $31.31 per day will increase to $32.33 per day.

>300 miles, $42.70 per day will increase to $44.10 per day.

For KCS crew members working on the Tex-Mex, the additional per diem allowance will increase from $9.06 per day to $9.36 per day.

Addendum 13 Adjustment:

The per diem rate under Addendum 13 (KCS) will increase from $49.47 to $51.09 per day.
