Annual open enrollment for UnitedHealthcare is held each October. During this period, members may review and select available health care 4 Quarterly Newsletter September 2026 options. Employees who currently participate in a flexible spending account (FSA), or wish to begin participating, must designate their contribution amount for the upcoming calendar year. Employees who wish to waive UnitedHealthcare medical coverage and receive the $200 monthly credit must also make that election during open enrollment. Members who live in areas served by more than one medical network may select their preferred network at that time. These elections must be made each October. The federal government sets the annual FSA contribution limit, which is currently $3,400.
