It is hard to believe it has been nearly 4.5 years since our last Agreement was finalized on the MRL.  Due to our invoking a “me-too” provision to capture a 6^th year GWI, our MRL members will receive one final raise under the current agreement.  That raise will be 3.5% and will be applied on January 1, 2027.  Under the terms of our March 2022 Agreement, we will be serving our notice to the Carrier to amend the existing Agreement in early 2027.  Accordingly, you can anticipate the non-operating coalition (BRS, BMWE and IAM) to be conducting town hall meetings to gather your feedback in the months ahead.  We will be looking for your guidance regarding areas of the Agreement to focus on for improvement next round.  Dates have not been officially set for these sessions but they will most likely occur this Fall in the October/November timeframe.
